Passport fees

PASSPORTS APPLICATIONS MADE TO THE FCO

You need to pay the correct fee in local currency when applying for your passport.

Methods of Payment: We can only accept payment in cash (Philippine currency) or Manager's cheque. If you are paying in cheque, your should make your cheque payable to the British Embassy Manila.

Passport Fees: You can find the current fees for passport application in our list of Consular Fees. These prices are subject to change without prior notice.

We can only issue emergency passports if all other types of passport cannot be printed on time. The emergency passport is only valid for a one-way trip back to the UK.

Additional fees: There is a call out fee for issuing an emergency passport outside of office hours. You will need to add this fee to the cost of the passport. Call out fee is £121.00. The rate is for every hour or part of an hour for each member of our staff. The maximum charge is £870.

If you are sending your application through courier service, you will need to enclose a courier-prepaid envelope. Please check with the Courier Company nearest in your area for more details.

 

 

 




Contacting Consular Staff in Manila

The Consular Section is located at 120 Upper McKinley Road, McKinley Hill, Taguig City 1634. The phone number is 00632.858.2200 and fax number is 00632.858.2342. With exception of public holidays, the public opening hours are:

Monday-Friday: 07:45am-12:00nn - for Consular assistance, submission of British Passport applications, Certificates of No Impediment (CNI), Birth Registrations and Notarial Services.

Monday-Thursday: 02:30pm-03:30pm - for collection of British passports, CNIs and Birth Registrations only. 

Apart from Consular emergencies, telephone enquiries are only received from 08:00am-4:00pm, Mondays-Thursdays and from 08:00am-1:00pm on Fridays. You may also send email enquiries at DLManila-Consprotect@fco.gov.uk.

Out of hours contact: For genuine Consular emergencies involving British Nationals, please contact 00632.858.2200 for assistance.

Consular Visitors: Visitors are able to carry in handbags/small bags/briefcases with them. Larger bags and suitcases have to be left at the gatehouse. All mobile phones should be checked in at the gatehouse.
